Many Lions Clubs have been sponsoring the GOOD Program for their local students for several years and indicate they plan to continue this tradition for years to come.
To participate, a Lions Club only needs to share this website with their principal, guidance counselor, or teachers. Ask if they would like shirts to give to children based upon the lessons presented on the videos. From there, the club sends in the order form with a check, and the shirts should be delivered within three weeks. Teachers enjoy hanging the shirts in the classroom so children can view the front and back of the shirt. The shirts look best hanging on black or white plastic hangers, and it is a nice gesture on the part of the Lions Club if the shirts are presented to the school or teachers in this manner.
Follow through: Clubs usually take pictures of the shirt winners and have the picture of the children put in the local newspaper. After a few years, the GOOD Program becomes a tradition in the community, and the local Lions Club is always associated with the GOOD Program. As time marches on, all students in the school and community will have these valuable life lessons become a part of their lives.
